Insomniac is expanding its family of music festivals to Asia next year, with the addition of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Tokyo, Japan.

Set for July 2016, EDC Japan will include many of the same signature elements that have been featured in other EDC festivals across the globe. There will be an emphasis on creating an unforgettable fan experience, along with top-tier DJ lineups, interactive art installations, and Insomniac’s world-renowned state-of-the-art lighting and pyrotechnics.

As Insomniac’s premier event, EDC will now take place on four continents, as versions of the festival already exist in North America, Europe and South America.

EDC Japan is being produced in partnership with GMO Culture Incubation and Live Nation Japan.
